Games running Without Reprojection - Demeo Rez Infinite Synth Riders Song in the Smoke (90 fps) Pistol Whip? (I'm assuming, need confirmation) Tetris effect? (I'm Assuming, need confirmation) Thumper? (I'm Assuming, need confirmation)

Would also like to know which games match the panel res or higher, and which are down/under-sampled. So far I only know of Rez and Tetris using the full panel res.
2000 x 2040 panels are great, but of more limited use if a game is down-sampled to let's say 1500 x 1500...

Added. Also Demeo is confirmed to run in native resolution without reprojection.

Also, I'm seeing reprojection in After The Fall. Never answered your question. Played some last night.

I bet the game can work fine with Index res 400% in 90 fps, it's a Quest port. I doubt PSVR2 can match the sharpness. But you may like oled, I think RoadToVR mentioned bad blacks with lcd, making it hard to navigate in dark locations.

Yea I'd rather have oled on games like this. Pistol whip too. Pistol Whip no longer works with Revive (after the patch in March 2022) - so I'm back to oled too, although not the PSVR2 ;-) I don't think the game looks any better with oled than lcd, but the sound is much better with CV1 than Index - maybe Pulse 3D could work well too. Pistol Whip is another bottom-end phoneVR game to me. The game was released Nov 7 2019 for both Quest and PCVR, and it totally looks like a Quest game. Today I'd probably not have bought it, supporting more Quest garbage with my wallet - but they used Index hmd in the old trailers and kinda fooled me. Works fine with Index res 500% even Revived, back when Revived worked - can't be much more low-end than that, total waste of the RTX 3090. Yes, I have a great passion for disliking Quest games :-) Also new levels feel repetivite - after shooting the first 1,000 men, shooting more does not bring much to me - just new boring low-poly environments and still no big boss fights. Do let me know if we get a proper boss fight in the game :-)

OLED provides more vibrant colors to look at since there's not much "graphics" to look at. I need to see if I can update this list any with new information.

It also seems there is no foveated rendering in Saints 2, which is strange to me knowing some features/effects seem reduced compared to PCVR. It may also imply that enabling foveated rendering isn't a walk in the park, but may take much effort. It seems not even Switchback had foveated rendering, but did have some eye tracking. Lack of foveated rendering is mentioned in this thread: www.reddit.com/r/DarkPicturesAnthology/comments/11u0bbp/17032023_an_update_about_switchback_vr/

Btw, I'm confident RE4 Remake VR will support foveated rendering, but can't find it confirmed for now.

The Last Worker has confirmed 60 fps with reprojections too, no sign of eye tracking and foveated rendering.
I even asked devs about foveated rendering on Steam, they were silent as the grave..
They would not tell how PCVR differed from Quest, but told me PCVR was same as PSVR2. They would not tell me how PSVR2 differed from Quest. The Quest trailer says the game was built ground-up for Quest. I take it the game is a 1:1 Quest port, looks the same in the trailers.
So an un-enhanced Quest game dumped on PSVR2 in 60 fps = giant red flag to me. I do not support the infection of pure Quest ports on high-end platforms.

So you're still using the PSVR2?
With Vertigo 2, I'm back with the Index.
Even GT7 looks too blurry and too subsampled to me, F1 22 in 90 fps looks so much better.
I'll probably continue with RE8 soon though, even if I find that game quite blurry too.
I still think Call of the Mountain was worth the 2k I paid for the PSVR2+PS5+Nvme. Looking forward to RE4 Remake VR.
Btw, sadly PSVR2 users are crying about not getting ports of Alyx and Vertigo 2. If PSVR2 is going to be a great success, it needs to rule with exclusives - it needs to be a leader - not some afterthought and dumping ground for ports.

But work has been crazy so I haven't been playing much of anything in the last week. Too tired when I get home lol. Just tooling around in Last Epoch with a friend when I do get some time.
