Ok so you guys that know me know that I just do not play non-VR games. Ever, been that way since Jan 2017. However due to health reasons, I recently did. I had two disc fusion in my uppers spine on Sept 15th. I had to go a min of 6 weeks with very limited head movement wearing a brace. I could not move my head to game in VR at all.
So to help me pass the insane amount of time in my home I was having to do, I broke down and purchased Madden NFL 23. I had not played a football game I can not tell you in how long. I enjoyed it though and it helped me pass those 6-7 weeks I had to go without VR gaming. Looking back I did enjoy it and was glad I did it. 'Have not played it again since I am back in VR with my flight sims, but strangely finding an urge to run another NFL game here in the near future and am sure I will just for shits and grins lol.
I can not compare it obviously to other football games, but I enjoyed it and helped me pass the time. Single Player only, the AI leaves some to be desired. I am sure it is fantastic in multiplayer though.

Me and a friend played some franchise mode and such and had a good time. AI is a bit better on the higher difficulties.

I hate winning by 50 points LOL.
