I did spend some time with Baldur's Gate 3 and thought it was good overall with a lot of flaws. I doubt you would care for it based on your reaction to other games. I'm currently playing Starfield now though and so far so good. But it's basically like Fallout 4 with a space mod tacked on. Most of the ship stuff is just like teleportation. You load to the destination.

Also like Divinity - Neverwinter Nights - Elder Scrolls Morrowind/Oblivion etc. Skyrim VR might be my favorite game of all, I just can't find the time to add the 500+ mods... With the kids, hard to find time for the extremely long rpgs - easier with shorter experiences.

Early access to Starfield with a preorder. If you liked Divinity then you'd probably like BG3. It's made by the same Developer, Larian.

I know it's Larian, and did get Divinity Original Sin in 2014, but never finished it. Still thinking maybe one day, lol. I'm probably not going to finish neither BG3 or Starfield, might wait for a discount and pick them up later just to see what's all the fuzz is about :-) Did pick up some SW game because it should be playable using a VR mod - Jedi Fallen Order. Graphics are impressive compared to VR games, sadly not sure we're getting anything like this for a long time made ground-up for VR, if ever. Maybe we can get a polished VR mod for Starfield to get it running with the 5090 in 2025...

This looks excessive to me: I've tried Metro Exodus and the Tomb Raider game with ray tracing, must admit I had a hard time noticing much difference from normal shadows apart from the performance. Looks more like some Nvidia commercial to me - trying to push more 4000 cards with DLSS3: Admitted that vid did look good - Nvidia always knows how to communicate with me, lol - but it's 2D, it's not for me. Still haven't finished Alan Wake, lol. Right now, ray tracing and DLSS3 are distant dreams - right now, I'm just happy to get a few non-ray-traced dynamic shadows in our Quest ports :-)
